Krištof Kintera (1973) is a Czech artist. Between the years 1992-1999 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, and between 2003-2004 at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. He was announced as the personality of Czech Fine Arts for the year 2011. His work is presented at international contemporary art galleries, and has been exhibited in important institutions at home and abroad. Kintera speculates on the possibilities and the role of art in contemporary society. Kintera is in a way an " engaged " artist who, through his installations, objects, videos and performances poses questions not only to the audience, but also to himself. In Bratislava, on the square Námestie slobody between 14.10 to 22.10. 2014, as part of the project the Point 0, his 1 euro public JUKE BOX was displayed, located at the place where the statue of Klement Gottwald had once stood.
